Re: Why Africa Has Gone To Hell
I certainly agree with some points and sentiments, especially the sentimentality of us Africans and the "moist-eyed mantras of the left ". But let's not forget to see the trees for the wood. I'm still repared to say that parts of Africa remain the heart of darkness, and are indeed hell but that there is a dawn of sorts in other parts. This hope is all many of us Africans have; the hope of a better day when our leaders do what they say and when we Africans take responsiblity for our communities, our fate and our future collectively.... but it is a flicker only at times, I admit. It needs to be nurtured in order to grow strong, and beyond its current reach.
