Hello, everyone! I am planning to live in Namibia. Just a few scared with the racism situation there. Anybody could explain me what is going on? I am from Kazakhstan, Asian woman.

hi KZtulip I am not denying that there is no racism in Namibia but its not something to worry about. I have to tell you that you have been misinformed. People will only treat you badly if you provoke them or make racist remarks against them, otherwise we all live in peace and harmony

I agree with 4_sure, but you will, in general, find us a harmless, helpful, useful bunch .. The only caveat would be: Treat others like you would like to be treated and us Namibians and you will get on like a house on fire.

Remember, too, that (as a matter of history) we have a fair crowd still fluent or semi-fluent in Russian ... if that should help?!
