Thread: OOPs, and the Spybill hearing was a Fluke!!!

Have not studied the bill/Act yet, but indication are that some section may be open to legal challenge .....

Expect them to do all in their power to spy on us more and more as the tectonic plates of Namibian politics slowly move, and their power wanes over the years.

Here's my problem: SWAPO = The State, and The State = SWAPO and so any spooks in this agency will, inevitably, work for SWAPO. I just simply, honestly, truthfully do not trust them with all this power, and neither should Namibians. Who in their right mind believes that oversight of this agency by a Parliament that is dominated by SWAPO and that is not even able to pass the required amendments discussed by the Chamber will be anything but cosy and feeble? There is no proper oversight of our security agencies. Witness ZANU-PF, close bosom friends of many SWAPO members.
