You have a digital camera with at least 8 Mpixel pic size! Good. You want to share these with us, the other Shebeeners. BUT .... all your photos will be in excess of 2 MB and Shebeen will swear at you and the website will mope and not accept your award-winning snaps.

What now?

Easy peasy. You are (OF COURSE) using Windows XP ... or? Anyway, select your photos and tell XP to e-mail them. XP, being as clever as it is, will ask you whether you want your photos smaller? You shout YES, PLEASE. (You can do the same (more or less) with "Vista")

XP will now trim them down to e-mail manageable size (between 40 -90 odd KB!!) In your e-mail programme (Outlook or Thunderbird or whatever) the pics will be listed as attachments. Nice and small.

Before you say "send", save the pics in a different folder!!!!

Now do do not even have to send the e-mail. Cancel it, fire up your browser Firefox, of course), go to "The Shebeen" and start uploading. Shebeen (the guy?) and the website and we will love you!
