    Pangkas,

The fact VOIP is still not acceptable (aka legal) in Namibia is not a failure of the Namibian legilsators or legislation, but rather the fact that the applicable act (Telekom's as the mighty monotheistic, monopolistic body) has not been changed. And, anyway, it was illegal in a number of countries ( Europe included) before the legislation came through to legalise it. We must never generalise, but see things in context.

To take your analogy further: There is a time for everything; first is was the age of the Greeks, then the Romans, now the Western nations .... Obviously, some civilisations will decline and other rise. (Teach your children Chinese so long < LOL>.)

Namibia will never follow the example of Zimbabwe .... although it is not all that clear in SA after the election of the popularist Zuma.

We are not Europe; we DO NOT WANT TO BE EUROPE!!!!! We'll get there eventually. Eupe has just one or two inhabitants more than little Namibia. We also earn ever so slightly less !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do not blow a gasket, Pietro. You as an educated man and claim to be liberated should know much better. This is not a tough question and you should have handle it with much confidence. Put your knowledge, skills and experience into practice, so that together, we can move on to a better future.

I expect this type of behaviour from a moron, and most definately not from you. Remember, we are all in the same boat, or are you also changing colours now like a cameleon.

Be rational and a little more professional. I do understand your anger and fully know where you coming from, okay now?

Its Xmas time, a time to celebrate, to give gifts and love and to control our anger and emotions. For Christ sake Pietro, take it easy man.

Ya'll are right, times are changing, so should Namibia, especially in the face of Globalisation. Telecom would just have to stuff it and leave the Namibian populace to exploit the benefits to be had from Technology. I was introduced to SKYPE recently, and think it a handy tool, if not entirely essential to cater for present day communication needs...keep it on the hush and try it out,so we may realize a public outcry to GRN to legalise VOIP, it's here, and most definately has staying power.
