Here's your chance to tell us about three things that you would change on Shebeen if you had a chance to do so. Anything goes: Look + feel, new features, navigation, content, things that annoy you or are difficult to use, things you miss ..... whatever!

Hi Shebeen,

1.) I would put Newstracker in a separate category. Nothing is more disheartening than having to wade through lots of news items to see what the members have had to say recently. Maybe this is only applicable to my particular circumstances, but .......

2.) Add quick links (perhaps) to associated/friendly sites, such as majorgeeks or similar for quick updates

3.) Add another button to the thanks, etc row. Sometime I just want to agree with/support someone without necessarily thanking him/her for the article

4. Not allow "unregistered" to post or comment. I know we all use a pseudonym, but somehow "unregistered" sounds so foreign/strange/unfamiliar/faintly unpleasant

Now that I have put my foot in it; how about the others?

Thanks for the suggestions, Oneword. I completely agree with the point you've raised regarding the Unread Posts issue, and the developer is working on resolving it. The notification is switched off for the time being. We're also working on a Favourite Links area/feature that all registered members can use to make links to their favourite web sites.

R there chat rooms that are members only on here?, it will not be a bad idea, where we can take off our shoes and massage some tired feet if you know what I mean.....Else keep up the good work, brilliant stuff!

The Unread Posts notification is back and fixed, and it now excludes all new news and weather items posted by the NewsTracker and WeatherTracker, so you don't have to wade through a lot of new items. Instead you'll be notified of new items on the Forums, i.e. new items posted by fellow Shebeeners. Hope this helps getting to the interesting bits quicker.
