Just what exactly did any Asian REALLY do for Namibians, coz I am seriously getting tired of this sobby saga that 'during the liberation struggle wadda wadda wadda, therefor, now we MUST do shoot ourselves in the foot, shoot ourseves in the foot, againa and again and again", for flip sakes, can someone please enlighten me and paint the biggest picture of who the the suffering entities/stakeholders were and who the liberation heroes were, and where exactly our own parents fall in line with these struggling heroic deeds, the whole picture please, not the where others waver kind of feature, coz I beleive thos who did not waver might be dead or handicapped now, etc. Please let's talk at length about these Asians apparently being more heroic and more worth rewards than our own parents, I would like to hear....the truth, please, no pilished work accepted and presented in our educational programmes

Gave SWAPO arms, money and training and lobbied for SWAPO in the UN. In this case, SWAPO was really the only organisation that moved heaven, dungeons and earth to bring freedom from the SA racist regime.

Without their help and that of the rest of Communist bloc we would, probably, still be sitting with the SA curriculum and other colonialistic "attractions".

I am not saying that China, North-Korea, Russia, India and all the others are the be all and end all, but it is undisputed that they immeasurably helped advance the pace of our freedom!

If Namibia is to be so concerned about everyone else having democracy, perhaps you should call for Namibia to cease relations with China, Russia, Cuba, most of the Middle East, and many fellow African nations as well. If it is also to shun anyone accused of having poor human rights, it will also have to reject the U.S., U.K., Israel, Colombia, Venezuela, all of Central Asia, and most of southeast Asia. Then who would be left? Just because North Korea is a smaller nation doesn't mean it should be held to different standards. At least it respects other nations' sovereignty. Namibians shouldn't forget about those who helped bring about independence.

N.Korea is paid in many, many, many ways. Go look at the embassies. Namibians are not welcome at the Embassy of Namibia in Wash., DC because the reception at the honorable gates are always manned by non other than the comrades from N.Korea, our communist borothers and sisters. I hear....
