*Leaving the nuclear debate aside Namibia needs to take advantage of the coming high demand for uranium.
Other technologies are around the corner that will do away with the demand for uranium and use the much more abaundant mineral
"thorium" will be generating the reactors. Namibia has a vast quantity of Thorium but other countries have much higher grades and tonnages of this radioactive metal.
In time, perhaps 20-25 years Namibia may be left out in the cold because other then a few gold and base metal mines there will be
not as much a tax revenue coming in and job creation will slide dramatically.
If the price of Uranium was slightly higher 3 or more mines would come online fairly quickly , right now they are stalled waitig for the price to go up.
So what can Namibia look forward to 20-25 years down the road to generate tax revenue?
Gold is not very abundant here, you may get lucky with 2 mines coming online in 3-4 years.
Base Metals , possibly a decent new deposit will be found.
Oil, there is hope
Diamonds , it is a limited resource in Namibia.
Thorium , well it's possible you could make a go at it

55% unemployed during your peak time is a travesty, imagine the future.
Take advantage of your lucky resources while you can despite the controversy, you need to put food on the table.
