I would like to know how single people feel about joining a singles club in Windhoek for friendship / casual socialising (maybe going for dinner or a party together etc) and possibly dating?

Hello Pumba - brilliant idea!

I've created a social group that will allow singles to contact each other, or to share photos and leave messages. Community members must join the group to view the content and you can access it either by going to Groups --> Namibia Single's Club or by clicking here

We can use the Invite Friends sytem here on Shebeen to spread the word and get as many singles involved as possible. Just click here .All invited friends would have to register with Shebeen first to join the club!

Hi

It seems everybody nowadays sees socializing etc as a kind of sexual thingy.
Have heard this question before.

What I mean with socializing is just meeting up a doing things together (whatever activity one decides on as a group, i.e. maybe meeting for a braai & drinks, movies, games etc.) Nothing of a sexual nature intended.

You want something of a sexual nature, there are websites out there where you can meet up with fellow like minded Namibians.

As to ethnic / cultural group etc no idea really.

This was just a general question as to how people feel about this idea.

I had thought of starting a singles only group for us single guys & girls to meet potential partners, but have been told if you are single in this town there is a certain stigma attached to that, people do not want to acknowledge that they are single, thus a singles group might just not work.

So a social group to meet and make new friends, whatever comes of it is between the grown ups, the idea is to have fun as a group, non - sexual.

Ideas, comments, criticism welcome.
