To Be honest I think that Swapo are the only reallistic choice at this point. The opposition are more concerned in getting some shine and wanting to lead their own respective parties so they can have 3- or less seats in the parlement, then when they are there they mean nothing to society as a whole. We can count the people that have meant something for the opposition on one hand.

I have to completely agree with sentiments of my fellow Comrade Kanamutenya on this issue. The opposition are in many cases to tainted with a past wrong. The Swapo led goverment for the most part have steered us in the right direction. Why would we want to change that. We have not nearly felt the Global economic crises as much as the rest of the world. Look at Windhoek and the ammount of building going on. Go out and seee haw full the restuarants are in the evenings. Look at the sky high car sales. These are all signs that our economy is much more vibrant than even the so called power house of Africa: South Africa.

So when the regional elections come along who are we too support but Swapo which for the most part deliver on our objectives. I am also confidant that we are going to move in the right direction: that of economic emancipitation.

I cannot fault the logic! SWAPO has not yet put much of a foot wrong .... and, yes, mistakes have been made: people are fallible!
