Good people, have not been on here for a long time but I am back on a historic occasion. On this very day, in 1989, SWAPO won a solid majority in Namibia's first national election, supervised by UNTAG (also known as United Nations Touch And Go). Can we toast to that?

Namibians ! i think our political system is going through a mutation. finally people relize that having one party is not benefiting anyone except those in the office and their families. DTA did not give swapo a challenge but RDP has given swapo sleepless night. i'm ont saying RDp should rule the country but to end swapo three two third majority era. if there is no competition there is no development. it's to us the so called BORN FREE to make sure that we are getting something out of democratic system by electing leaders that build the nation. some leader they dont practice what they preach. "ZERO TOLORANCE OF CORRUPTION" i thought he's going to stick to that but TEKO has proven him wrong. now i wonder wether to follow RDP and hope that they will do better or to swallow my pride and vote for swapo. last but not least we would like to have political parties president in a debate on one africa tv not nbc for fairness reasons.

In agreement to the debate as well as the distribution of votes.....not necessarily to RDP, but if they are the ones who can clearly make the much need dent, then so be it hey....am pro balance indeed ;-)

And a DENT they seem to be making, juikk, judging by the first preliminary and unconfirmed results...
