    1. I assume before you come to settle you would want to visit my country first as a "tourist". Well, then citizens of the following countries DON'T need visas provided they are in possession of a valid passport, good for a period of at least six months after intended date of departure from Namibia, together with a return or onward ticket or proof of other means of transport enabling them to leave Namibia: Angola, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Botswana, brazil, Canada, Cuba, Germany, France, Lesotho, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Macao, Malawi, Malaysia, Mozambique, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Russia, Scandinavian countries, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Swaziland, Switzerland, Tanzania, UK, USA, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Entry into Namibia is granted for a maximum of 90 days. Applications for an extension should be directed to the Ministry of Home Affairs, Windhoek, Tel. (061) 2929111 or at Namibian embassies.

Your nearest point of contact would be:

Embassy of the Republic of Namibia
    1605 New Hampshire Avenue, NW
