SWAPO leads in early, unconfirmed international and coastal voting
Election Watch - Indications are that the ECN will only confirm the international and coastal voting on Sunday. We have received some unverified results. Early trends are: low numbers of people voting abroad (as in the past); Swapo dominating in most results; RDP clearly emerging as second place party; President Pohamba's votes are higher than Swapo's in some places (an indication that some people are voting for RDP but switching to Pohamba for the presidential vote). Word of warning though: the numbers are small and it would be unwise to invest too much significance in such trends or assume they will be repeated on Nov 27 and 28.
