The Namibian Institute for Democracy (NID) has made available 2 guides and a newsletter on elections.

1.) Strengthening Political Party Representatives in Namibia
This training guide is used by the NID in its political party
strengthening programme which, in a non-partisan manner, assists party officials in preparing campaigns, managing media profiles, providing information relating to electoral law, codes of conduct, electoral procedures and poll watching. It has especially been compiled and designed for this purpose jointly with the Electoral Institute of Southern Africa (EISA)

2.) Guide to Elections Observation - September 2009
This guide has been published by the NID as part of a domestic civil society elections observation coalition, CSEC. It was compiled with the assistance of elections experts at the University of Namibia and is currently used to train domestic elections observers from civil society in view of deployment during the national and presidential elections to be held in Namibia in November 2009.

3.) Fair Vote 09 Newsletter - August 2009
The latest edition of the NID's electronic newsletter covering issues relating to the freedom and fairness of the upcoming elections as part of the Namibia civil society elections observation programme. It is implemented by the Civil Society Elections Coalition (CSEC).
