Thread: Elections 2009 - Who gets your vote?

If I was a Namibian I would vote for the next strongest party after the ruling party. Having too much power with 2/3 majority is never a good thing - same here in South Africa where all the power has gone to the ANC's head just like it has to SWAPO and ZANU-PF and all the other former liberarion movements. A strong political challenge may give them all a jolt.

ek sal vote, definitely but i don't know who will get my vote yet. ek dink SWAPO het sy kans gekry and they have done some good things, and some bad. ek dink dis tyd vir change, want that is what life is all about: change, change, change, change....

This should be an interesting exercise, it seem RDP not doing all too bad, so I guess as per Andrew1, that should ideally be de party to vote for this year....wait and see I guess

this poll suggest several parties will form the next government with Swapo and RDP having an equal amount of seats.

i am guessing "hopefully i'm wrong" we will have 2 elections within a year

Not so sure about SWAPO or RDP, but tending towards RDP at the moment. They have to convince though that they are not old faces with a new banner but truly represent change....
