5 - Lukas, dis nie goeie rede my broer?
    6 - ?

Smaak my SWAPO did liberate the territories maar jenne the future does not care how much time you spend in the past - dit hardloop weg voordat jy jou oe blink. Tyd dat ander 'n kans kry, but please: the leopard doesn't change its spots, so RDP is not my cup of tea either.
Meer van ja, nee, THUMBS DOWN Lukas, tipe opinie..... if the results of the poll is anything to go by thus far, then it seems though RDP is making inroads and indeed is this years official opposition, the Namibian minds are still jailed by the liberation thinking...still incarcerated by SWAPO's violance tactics thus far I guess, there has to be a different reason to vote for SWAPO, than the Liberation rhetoric....
Something more recent as to what it DID for any Namibian after gaining the throne of independence, with possible references being the budget allocations of Sara, Land issues, or jobs perhaps, maybe poverty alleviation,or quality of education & health, crime reduction, justice for ALL, real freedom of speech ????....but if any one dares march to the polling station this year with the liberation line... dare I say any more? Geeeeeeezzzzzz Lukas, I mean............

These elections are going to be difficult because there is intolerance growing. Why I'm saying this is because of events in Eenhana on 3 April 2009. SWAPO party organised a demonstration against maladministration of the educaiton sector and they started insulting our party leaders including Hidipo Hamutenya and Jesaya Nyamu and Phil ya Nangoloh of NSHR. They call those people who are RDP supporters who work in GRN satan! What is this? Vakwetu ina tu lihekeni vali, let’s build Namibia without bad name calling.
How are we going to build our nation like this? Ouyuni okwanaminuka.

who are these devils in any way, Peter?

Peter, what changed in you the day you decided to join SWAPO, and is it worth it to through your values, if any are left, for the dogs?

I hope this easter egg is not to hard, and believe me, I have no personal grudge against you, just a straight forward question.

In return a straight forward answer would be appretiated, rather then doggy talk, you know Peter?

    Thanks now

    Pangkas,

It is a saying, my brother .... a SAYING .........

Meaning: "it is often better to deal with someone or something you are familiar with and know, even if they are not ideal, than take a risk with an unknown person or thing". (Better the devil you know - Idiom Definition - UsingEnglish.com)

And since it is a saying, it was a general comment, not a personal opinion.

and: it is "dodgy", by the way ............... (evasively tricky: a dodgy manner of dealing with people.)

    Happy Easter

This thread is very interesting. Now as voting is getting closer, is anything changing. BTW - All Peoples Party of Ignatius Shixwameni is also joining the race.

If someting must change - who shall do it??

I have gone so far as to writing a book on the future of the country the way I think a government should run it - just hope somebody actually reads it when its finished.

Elections are happening for the national election right now. Great. The results will speak for themselves.

However, my question is: What about next year's local elections. I still believe that if a two house parliamentary system is to be maintained, we the electirate should become more involved in the loccal elections and choose the person who will do the most for us in our immediate vicinity.

Not necessarily the person chosen by the party for our constituency!

I agree ..... but we will probably end up with the person who will do the most for himself/herself and those in his/her immediate vicinity ...........
