Default A case for portable apps

Portable applications in general are software and programs you can run independently from a removable drives (like flash/pen drive) without going through the hassle of installing them. They are widely used and have been a favorite approach for professionals of different various industries.

With portable applications, you can leave your laptop behind; plug in the thumb drive in any client machine, run the application without worrying about leaving anything behind. You’ll be surprise how many applications you can actually run without installation.

I have been using "Portable Apps" from PortableApps.com - Portable software for USB drives for some time now and have found it a boon when either having to work on a strange computer or, simply, when away from home and without either Dt and Lt.

The suite of apps from LiberKey - Portable Applications is also pretty good.

Both have a lot of similar software, so it depends what you prefer.

Yep been using some of them myself. Really useful - especially with the compatibility issues.
