Miss Namibia 2008 - Marelize Robberts WINDHOEK – Marelize Robberts (21) of Windhoek became Miss Namibia 2008 when she was crowned at a glittering occadion at the Windhoek Country Club and Resort on Saturday evening.
Robberts, who was also chosen as Miss Photogenic by local photographers and journalists, shared with spotlight with 19-year-old Leani Roux of Windhoek as First Princess, and Kimera Markowitz-Karuuombe (22) of Tsumeb, as Second Princess.
During her one-year reign, Robberts will be an ambassador of the Diamond Centenary Celebrations.
She will also travel and represent her country at the Miss World Beauty Pageant to be held at Kiev, Ukraine later this year.
