Thanks, Neo-RP for the feedback! I should have pointed out the FAQ/Help page earlier. More info about all sorts of settings can be found in the FAQQ/Help page which can always be accessed by means of the new Tools menu in the top navigation bar.![]()
Okay, I admit it, I have vloeked our beloved community many, many times. Why? Whenever trying to follow some existing thread with a new post, particularly the interesting threads with lots of posts, the forums irritated the &^*%$£$ out of me: Scroll, scroll, go to next page, then one more page, till eventually finding the latest post on the third page, at the bottom, five minutes later.
Flip, why can't the newest post per displayed right there at the top, just like everywhere else? Would that not be the user friendly thing to do? Now I was about to contact Shebeen about this irritating feature of Shebeen, but luckily I remembered one little acronym: RTFM.
And voila, it was in fact no user unfriendly setting of Shebeen itself , but a setting users could even personalize. Wow! Which only took me a year and a half to discover.
Here is the solution if you do want to change the pre-defined setting which ensures that the oldest post are shown first:
Just go to
> My Account > Edit Options - Thread Display Options - Thread Display Mode -- "Linear - Newest First" instead of the preselected "Linear - Newest First"
Sorry for not having believed in you, Shebeen![]()

Life-saver Neo-RP. Thanks for the tip and thanks Shebeen for the link. I'm learning new things about this platform every day. Grreat stuff. Is there also a way to check all of today's posts?![]()
Is it not careless to become too local when there are four hundred billion stars in our galaxy alone - Archie R. Ammons
Two ways, Galaxy:
- On the Tools menu there is a link to Today's Posts. Use that to, well. list today's posts.
- Once you login you'll also see a Unread Posts notification in the top right-hand corner. Click on the link to get a list of all the posts you have not yet read, including today's posts.
Hope this helps.
