    Tuhafeni was quoting in another post; so let me translate another quote "When in need, the devil will eat flies!", meaning you take what you get. For many years there was only MTC; now they have a half-brother/sister and another sister/brother from another mother!

    Let's be cheeky:

    MTC = SWAPO

    CellONE = RDP

    same difference.

    I suppose Telecom would then be MAG?

    Nice comparison. It even fits from the "conservative" and the "age" angles. I think, however, that even MAG - oom Kosie Pretorius - is better organised than Telecom!

    Well Shebeeners, there was a Question from Shebeen regarding the respective pricing for MTC, Cellone, etc.

    Well one of reasons why I would chose a mobile operator would be what gadgety handset I can land should I subscribe from them, sort of like how can I be thanked for impacting positively on their business. To that effect, below one can check out those cute handsets, that tell the world what kind of a person I am..LOL

    Hi Pietro, I never implied that you don't pay for it, yes you do, but in chunks(the ever so loving credit terms), which allow you to make use of something u would otherwise never have benefitted from...;-)

    Here my one penny's worth into this pound.

    One actually strikes a pretty good deal when taking a handset and a contract because the retail price of these sets is usually higher .... and anyway, since every company comes out with a more desireable model every two months or so ...... why not?

    Well in my opinion what is the difference of cellone making the calls cheaper on net its the same as the other service providers calls from mtc to cellone are also expensive. i think namibians are resistent to change in this catogary. What did Cellone do in just a year that took mtc years to complete they covered most of namibia in just a few months time and provide us namibians with quality network. Cellone keep it up.
