Re: TRUSTCO Rocked By Fraud and punishes collectively?
Well, it certainly is an interesting management approach. The company's boss, Quinton van Rooyen says he's "an absolute believer in collective responsibility, be it the responsibility to share in losses or the privilege to share in the wealth created."
I suppose as the company's owner he can do as he sees fit. I'm not sure it's possible to level charges of racims but I wonder what effect a measure such as this will have on the group's honest, hard-working employees. It's Machiavellian, for sure. But then many believe a Machiavellian approach to management is sometimes exactly what is needed.
