Namibia’s national U17 cricket team won the ICC Africa Central and Southern Region U17 tournament in Benoni, South Africa on September 1, after beating Zambia in the final. In a closely contested final, Namibia prevailed to win the match by only 14 runs. Namibia were all out for 159 runs with Andrew Forrest top scoring with 50 runs.
