Africa can celebrate today! Just after the "festivities" of Africa Day, we get the report that Barack Obama has knocked that superbitch for a six! Flat on her bum.

And what happens? That supercilious and obnoxious person still does not want to acknowledge has she has been beaten fair and square by Obama. Now, just how deperate can you get. Who made what promises to her or, rather, who did she make promises to that she now cannot keep?

Elsewhere on The Shebeen it has already been talked about what would happen should The Great Black Hope actually defeat Oupa McCain.

Personally speaking I am also still very much in doubt whether the West-Virginians (basically as block-headed as our SA Freestaters), the Texans and others will accept so much racial progress in such a short time.

I think they are of the opinion that they could handle another Clinton - even if it is of the female kind not necessary fond of interns called Monica.

Well, the following takes the cake.

Hollywood has "taught" us that you need to be a thin as a reed to succeed. Our Southern African women pooh-pooh that idea totally!

They want to be round, sturdy and have more than a handful. And there is plenty of thought behind this. If a woman is as straight as a plank, all men become suspicious.

Here is the reason: Rather than risk the stigma associated with HIV, the women in a recent study preferred to be overweight.

"In South Africa, women are not keen to lose weight because of associations of thinness with HIV," SA Researcher and dietician Tandi Matoti-Mvalo told delegates at the 4th Public Health Association of South Africa conference in Cape Town this week.

If I look at the paunches of the some of the men I see regulary and some of mamas in the streets, I think they are of the same opinion!!

I have been told by some well-meaning people that politician can be everything but he or she must never become predictable. That is when he or she has had it.

If I apply this measure to His Lowness of the modern Zimbabwe Ruins, Mugabe is well over the hill. He has become soooooo predictable in his speeches. Always the same: Racist UK, racist USA the economic sanctions have ruined the country and he is archangel Gabriel trying to rescue the country from the evil clutches of the capitalists - and everybody else is a traitor to the noble cause of Chimuranga.

I suppose we would find the results of the run-off together with the victory and next year's speeches and excuses for the still-failing economy in his safe in his multi-trillion Dollar mansion.
