  1. Cuff wins Namibian Cycle Classic

    Ingram Cuff won the Pick n Pay Namibian Cycle Classic on Sunday when he beat Jacques Celliers in a sprint to the line. Cuff completed the 100km race in a time of 2:35:00, to finish four seconds ahead of Celliers, while Till Drobisch came third a further 10 seconds behind.

    It was the first major victory for the 28-year-old Cuff, who represented Namibia’s development team at the 2009 African Cycling Championships in Windhoek.

    The annual prize giving of the Rock & Rut Mountain Bike club’s MTC Cross Country Series took place on November 12.[/B]

    Ananias Ananias rode a great race to win the 100km Namibian Cycle Classic on Sunday morning. Ananias, riding for the Prowealth team, beat team mate Heiko Redecker, Stefan Marggraff and Tjipe Murangi in a sprint to the line to win the 100km event in 2 hours 35 minutes and 34 seconds.
