These players were Rowan Engelbrecht, Brendan Jassop, Johannes Kwedhi, Jandjamuje Maharero and Mirko Wolff.
The Under 9 A team can easily be seen as the “Team of the Year” as they participated in five tournaments and won all five of them. The team under the guidance of coach Ralf Behrens won the tournaments held in Otjiwarongo and Swakopmund as well as the tournaments in Windhoek which were hosted by SKW, St. Georges Diocesan School and Ramblers Soccer Academy.
On their way to fame they played 26 matches of which they lost only one and drew four matches, scoring 71 goals and conceding only 15 goals. Top goal scorers were Sven Grünewald and Florian Hecht, who together with Edmar “Zulu” Kamatuka have been invited to represent a Namibian invitational side in the “Euro Cup 2011” which will be held in Germany in January 2011.
The Under 13 side and their coach Uwe Wolff also had a successful season as they won the Streethouse league and were also successful in Otjiwarongo, when they won the 44th edition of the Dieter Koepp Cup, the oldest cup in Namibian Youth Football. The team came third in the other three tournaments during the season.
The 2011 season will start in the first week in February next year.
