Nedbank Namibia in partnership with the Namibian Junior Golf Foundation will host the annual Namibia Junior Open 2008 final. This prestigious event will be played at the Rossmund Golf Course in Swakopmund on September 13 and 14, 2008.

The awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, September 14 at 12h00 where the best male and female players, the winning region, as well as each player from the winning region will receive trophies as part of their prizes for the event.

Approximately 32 players from the central, western and northern regions will take part in the tournament. The Junior Open will be played over 54 holes on Saturday and the 18 holes on Sunday will be used to determine the winning region. In addition to this, players will compete in different handicap divisions, namely in the A, B, C and female divisions. A development training programme will also form part of Sunday’s event.

The Nedbank Tour Cup final currently in its second year, will also form part of the weekend’s activities at the Rossmund Golf Course. The central region is leading 2-1 and this weekend’s tournament will definitely be the deciding factor in determining the winner for the Nedbank Tour Cup 2008.

The tee off time will be at 07h00 on both days.
