Ingram Cuff won the Pick n Pay Namibian Cycle Classic on Sunday when he beat Jacques Celliers in a sprint to the line. Cuff completed the 100km race in a time of 2:35:00, to finish four seconds ahead of Celliers, while Till Drobisch came third a further 10 seconds behind. Cricket Namibia will host the Bank Windhoek Ladies Cricket Development Festival in Windhoek from 15 to 17 October 2010. At the festival the Namibia ladies team and the Under 13 boys and girls teams will play against Botswana at the Union and CCD fields in Windhoek. The teams will all play 35 and 20 over matches. Johanna Benson won Namibia’s first medal at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi, when she finished third in the final of the Women’s 100m T37 race for disabled athletes on Thursday.
